We believe that the medical and insurance communities need to be more aware of the crisis that is Chronic Lyme Disease. Many practitioners believe that this debilitating disease doesn’t even exist!
In 2008 Jennifer Sebastian’s mother was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease.
Since then Jenn has made it her mission to support her mother and others out there with Lyme. Helping to promote the eye-opening film Under Our Skin was only the beginning. The awareness and education of doctors who treat Lyme disease is simply insufficient.
In early 2009 Jenn contacted Turn the Corner and Create Footprints to see how she could volunteer with the fundraising efforts at each of these non-profits. With their assistance a team was formed to assist Jenn in every aspect of organizing a fundraiser walk.

The first annual fundraiser walk in support of Turn the Corner took place on November 7th, 2009 in Mountain View, CA at Shoreline Park and raised almost $20,000! We are currently in the very early stages
of planning the fall 2010 walk. Please see contact us at biteback@mylymemission.com if you're interesting in
getting involved.
